I was Referred to Ryan by my sister who had worked with him a year before and loved him! He was so nice and explained everything to me. Divorces are hard enough as it is and with 5 kids you need someone to help you. He was great!
0 stars!!!! It made me rate it with one I Hired Ryan June of 2017 then fired him less then two months later. I paid him $3,000 to retain him, that money would be to pay for costs during the time I needed him. My paperwork to retain him states he did not think it would be more then $2,000-$4,000 . Every motion that he filed got denied, during trial he did not ask the questions that needed to be asked nor did he defend me or my character. He did not know the laws so when he objected to things the Judge could not understand why. I had to do 90% of my paperwork and got my own evidence together because he advised me that it would save me money and that he did not have time. He was late to a court hearing making me explain myself to the Judge, making the Judge irritated and showing disrespect. He also agreed to things my ex wanted but I did not! When I asked him to look things up such as background information for me to be ready for trial he did not do so but then charged me for them anyways. After trial he then proceeded to tell me " unless your child is so badly beaten or 6ft under we can not do anything to help or stop it". After I fired him I recieved a bill in the mail from him in to sum of $5,120.00 . So $8,120.00 for less then two months as my attorney with no progress and with a Ruling from trial that I had lost. Mind you trial only took a couple of hours not days. His knowledge of Child Custody Laws as well as making sure his Client is represented rightfully is not what they need to be. I would not hire him nor would I refer him to anyone.
