About
Before moving to San Antonio for law school, Olivero grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, in the town of La Joya, Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas Pan-American in Mathematics, while also working 30 hours a week to provide for himself and contribute towards household bills. After only two and a half years, he graduated with his Bachelors and was accepted into St. Mary’s University School of Law. During law school, Olivero was a Staff Writer on The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, writing his comment on social business corporations in Texas. As a member of St. Mary’s External Advocacy Program Moot Court, he was recognized as a National Finalist at the Federal Bar Association’s Annual Moot Court Competition. While attending classes, Olivero also worked as the Research Assistant for Associate Dean Reynaldo A. Valencia, where he was able to work on a variety of business issues. Finally, after two and a half years of law school, Olivero graduated in the top 13% of his class.
