I was looking to getting my US citizenship as my father is a born US citizen. I explained the detailed circumstance to Mr. Roberts and he sounded very positive with our chances of obtaining it. However; after sending all of documents and obtaining DNA tests to him things started to drag on for several months to a year and longer. He never kept communication open with me and never told me he switched firms during our case. Every time I had communication with him it was because I took the initiative to call or email him. In addition I had to revisit many details of our case to Mr. Roberts because he couldn't recall them. After almost two years since taking my case he informed me he could not continue with my case and referred me to another lawyer as his rates had gone up considerably and his time was limited. We are a one single income family and I am very disappointed with all the time and money wasted. I feel I was not given reasonable attention and priority a client expects to receive. My father is very fragile and I was looking forward to spending his last years with him living in Rochester New York which appears will not happen any time soon.
