My parents made their Trusts with Mr. Ota. Upon the death of my father, we discovered the Mr. Ota included properties that my father had no title to or owned; only to create more confusion for the beneficiaries. According to Mr. Ota, he did it to fund my father's Trust, however, you cannot "fund" a Trust with something you don't own or have title to. Any good attorney knows you can't put property in your Trust if you don't have title to it. In addition, it has taken over 6 months for a response regarding a resignation of a trustee for my father's Trust which is still not completed. On both of my parents Trusts, Mr. Ota adds a lot of "fluff" in their trust just to draw it out and charge them for it. He is expensive and you could find a better Trust attorney elsewhere.
