I hired Ross via the Lampin Law firm to defend me in a criminal case. After hiring him, he continually delayed my surrender, telling me the judge wasn't available, the prosecutor was busy, etc. After nearly a month of waiting for him, I was finally arrested. At the bond hearing, the judge decided I was a flight risk, and rather than reducing my bond, TRIPLED it instead. Ross did not once mention I had hired him a month earlier and had been waiting to be surrendered. He was remarkably quiet. After making bond impossible, and knowing I wanted to plead not guilty, he asked the prosecutor for a deal. When the deal was 90 days shock time, followed by probation, he simply left me in jail. He stopped taking my calls, and stopped coming to see me, for two months. Instead, I would be surprised by monthly court dates (no one informed me of), and met in the court room (cuffed & shackled) by one of his associates who would tell me nothing, and just ask the court for a continuance. 4 months after hiring him, 3 of which I spent in jail, I fired him. The case turned into a complete disaster I ended up being held nearly a year. He kept the $2500 I had given him upfront.
