Salvatore “Sal” Picataggio, practices family and business immigration law, assisting and representing clients in family-based immigration (spouse, parent/child, sibling), investments (E-2 Treaty Investor and EB-5 Immigrant Investor), H-1B and E-3 specialty occupations, L-1 and EB-1 multinational executives and managers, EB-1 aliens of extraordinary ability, applications for citizenship and naturalization, and more. Sal graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May, 2011. Sal’s studies included a diverse array of topics including intellectual property law, government law, and land use and environmental law. Sal returned to the University of Florida as co-adjunct professor of Business Immigration Spring of 2017. At his time at the Levin College of Law, Sal was a member of the John Marshall Bar Association General Board as Director of Technology and Director of Public Relations. He was the Event Coordinator and a Student Ambassador for the Introduction to Law School and the Profession program. He was also the Vice President, Live Music Showcase Coordinator, and performer for the Music Law Conference. Sal graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2008, where he majored in Public Relations and minored in Business Administration. He was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the drummer for the University of Florida Jazz Band. Happy to celebrate my I-140 approval by writing a review here! :) After talking to a few attorneys/offices I then got on the phone with Sal Picataggio last year, he asked a few things about my background, and the way he approached my case was super great, he understood my work background and knew the best way to use it for my case. I decided to work with Colombo & Hurd because I felt secure on the way Sal proposed to go with my I-140 EB2 NIW case. Today, I'm glad to celebrate that in under 1 year I got approved. Got an RFE, he worked with me to answer it, and in just a week I got my RFE reviewed and approved!
