Mr. Vargas took a case for my disabled mother in which his monetary gain would at best be minimal. My mother broke her hip and could no longer reside at her apartment complex due her difficulty negotiating stairs. A moving date was set up and certain items were left behind to be picked up at a later date. The rent for the apartment was paid for the entire month which gave me enough time to move my mother and go back before the end of the month to clean and get said items. Upon return the items were missing and the apartment had been freshly painted. Even though the items did not have great value, just a few hundred dollars I wanted my mother to be reimbursed for those missing items which were removed. The landlord denied the claim and said by moving out the apartment was abandoned even though I never told the landlord we were done nor did I turn in the keys. Mr Vargas took the case even though he did not have great knowledge of landlord/Tenant cases. He treated my mother with dignity and respect, did great research and was prepared when we finally went to court. My mother received a judgement in her favor.
