Very aloof, dismissive, and arrogant. He immediately told me it was $400 an hour to retain him, and I told him his office told me there was a free consultation. He said, "sometime yes, sometimes no. in this case you just need to decided whether you want to start a new business and then retain me if you want." If you are going to be arrogant in this business, you better know what you are doing and know more than the prospective client does and, frankly, I honestly believe in this case you did not.
He ill advised us and we ended up losing the deal AND he charged a hefty fee for ruining it all. He does not care about a client at all, he relayed messages to the other attorney without adding the conditions he was supposed to relay. He gave advice to sign on a certain date which we explained to him is impossible for us to keep to, and he just said "don't worry". He acted indifferent, we did not at all feel that we have someone representing us, but he was fully there to charge a hefty price. More than what attorneys in the area charge for an actual closing, and we never closed because of his bad advice. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!
