Mr. Higgins represents clients in all aspects of litigaiton.  Prior to joining Katz Korin Cunningham, PC, Mr. Higgins represented the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.  While at the Disciplinary Commission, Mr. Higgins’ practice was focused on trust account mismanagement and financial related misconduct. Mr. Higgins was responsible for screenings, audits, prosecutions, and appeals of trust account matters before the Indiana Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Higgins regularly handled the investigation, prosecution, and appeal of misconduct cases arising from bankruptcy, probate, receivership, and other business related matters. Mr. Higgins’ practice has resulted in dozens of reported cases, including a number of per curiam opinions from the Indiana Supreme Court.Mr. Higgins himself is an entrepreneur and is the founder of a sports equipment design and manufacturing company.  Mr. Higgins invented a number of products and has numerous patents awarded and pending for products ranging from electronic control mechanisms to wireless communication technologies.  The company has since relocated to Florida, but Mr. Higgins maintains an active role in the company’s management.Mr. Higgins attended and graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College, with a major in Economics and a minor in English.  Mr. Higgins also graduated from Wabash as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  After college, Mr. Higgins obtained his law degree from the Indiana McKinney School of Law, where he was also an editor for the Indiana Law Review.  Mr. Higgins graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana McKinney School of Law.In his spare time, Mr. Higgins can be found in his woodworking workshop creating his newest box, clock, table, or chair.  Mr. Higgins is also an avid dog lover.Mr. Higgins can be reached at [email protected]
