I hired Rob Colquitt for a legal matter that shook me to the core. He assured me he would do all he could knowing the facts. He acquired a full dismissal of all charges. This man made me feel unbelievably comfortable at the consultation and beyond. Such a personable and down to earth man he is. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this lawyer in Las Vegas, NV for everything from traffic tickets to criminal representation. Thank you Ron!
We hired Ronald after our insurance company accused my Husband of stealing his own motor cycle even though metro cleared him of this and after months of no resolve . And the insurance company dragged this case out for over a year. Ronald handled this with great professionalism He always answered all of our questions and was always behind us when he had to make statements to our insurance company attorneys. I would highly recommend hiring Ronald Colquit!!!
The first meeting with Ron he really put me at ease. he took care of everything and was helpful and kind. He even worked with me on payments. When my case was done he helped my get my record sealed. Ron is a great guy and his staff is super friendly. I can't say enough good things about Ron.
Not everyone has a positive outcome in the criminal justice system. Most people that have positive outcomes do not usually write a review because they are happy with the result and want to put it behind them. My partner who is recently deceased hired Ron to defend him in a drug possession charge. My partner consented to a search after a stop by the police for failure to use a turn signal. My partner had no previous drug convictions. Ron got the charges reduced from a felony drug conviction with jail time possession of an illegal substance which is not a felony with no jail time. It did require he pay a fine and do community service and they let him out of the community service because he had a heart problems and simply couldn't do much but I am sure if his health was better he would have done community service. The secret to Ron is just do what he tells you to do and you will get the best outcome possible. Try not to get drug court if at all possible and never consent to police searches make them get a warrant.
Ron picked up my case and even allowed me to make monthly payments at an agreed upon price that never changed. He informed me of all possible outcomes good and bad,He knew the way the system worked and his experience showed.I was very happy with the communication and professionalism he and his staff displayed throughout the entire trial and would recommend him to any of my friends or family seeking legal assistance.I'm glad I chose him as my attorney and would not hesitate to contact him again should I ever need legal counsel in a criminal matter.
Ronald is the worst lawyer you could ever hire!!!! He is VERY MONEY HUNGRY and he does nothing for you after he gets your money. I paid him in full 3500.00 to represent my son and he did not do nothing at all. He didn't file no motion and never had time to talk to me or my son. He was friends with the DA for over 20 years and I feel that he should have given me my money back because thats a conflict of interest. He show up to court late if he show up at all. He have a VERY BAD ATTITUDE and will try to talk to you very nasty and will walk away. And forget about getting a returned phone call you will be waiting. After only 2 months of hiring him he wanted me to pay him another 15,000 now mind you i just paid 3500.00 and nothing was done. I am warning you don't do it you will be sorry
Hired this guy and paid in advance. Took money and he did nothing. Would not answer phone calls or show up in court.
This review is 100% truthful, with no exaggeration. Im doing this strictly for the general publics benefit because I feel they need and have the right to know. Ronald Colquitt is a horrible, horrible lawyer. Paperwork and folders scattered everywhere. Very very unorganized. Took him days and days to return any of my calls which then he was very very rude. He scheduled a meeting with me at 8 a.m. one morning which he didn't even show up to, he had his receptionist tell me to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes to then tell me he was going to be another hour and that it would be best to come back later (this was after I gave him payment, he obviously didn't care about my case). I actually paid him for another case, which I ended up hiring another lawyer for to finish the case because he was so bad. There are hundreds of lawyers here in Las Vegas, Ronald Colquitt is probably the worst, please spend your money elsewhere, I promise the extra money you spend on good lawyer will be worth it. Please keep in mind that I have nothing to gain from this post and that I am doing this because if someone had told me this before, I would have saved a lot of money. There is not one statement in here that is exaggerated by any means.
I hired this attorney not knowing he had already been suspended by the bar for unsavory and unacceptable behavior in the practice of law. Do not hire him. He has not changed. He is not capable of handling any case unless it's straight foreword dUI. Forget him. :(
Hired this attorney a few years ago not knowing his license had been suspended several years ago for a number of offenses. I wish I had checked the bar first but not having had dealings with many attorneys I took him at his word that he could handle my case. As it turned out he was over his head and neglected to show for several court dates. By the time I realized it I had already paid him $2000. The last court was very important so I had another attorney call the DA and direct him what was going on as my attorney was not able to. My attorney was embarrassed and called me names as well as threaten me. Now, three years he is suing me for $8000. When the initial price was $2000. Plus another $2000. On the case he was not able to do causing me to sit in jail for over 14 days . I would never refer him to my worst enemy. He continued to call and threaten me and my family for years.
