Ron Bolt’s approach to practicing law involves personal attention to and prompt communication with his clients. By listening to their concerns, he is able to proactively address clients’ needs. He practices primarily community association and municipal law. He also handles zoning and other administrative law matters before state and local government agencies and courts. Mr. Bolt serves as counsel for the Town of Chevy Chase, the Village of Martin's Additions, Chevy Chase View, Garrett Park, Section 3 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, among other local governments. He has been recognized as a Rising Star by the Maryland Super Lawyers magazine and the Community Association Institute's Washington Metropolitan Chapter (WMCCAI). He was named 2013 Maryland Public Advocate of the Year by WMCCAI. Mr. Bolt is co-chair of the WMCCAI Maryland Legislative Committee. He is also a member of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association. He has authored numerous articles in publications regarding community association and municipal legal issues. Mr. Bolt is a 1997 graduate of the University of Maryland and a 2000 graduate of the Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Maryland.Prior to private practice, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Donald F. Johnson, Circuit Court for Dorchester County, Maryland. During law school, he clerked at the Office of the Maryland Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.
