R. Neal Keesee, Jr. has extensive experience in all areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, contracts, computer law, tax, succession planning, employee benefits, real estate, financing, creditor's rights and venture capital. Neal is a frequent speaker on topics of interest to business owners and has authored chapters about corporate legal practice and limited liability companies in Virginia. Neal is listed in Best Lawyers in America and as a Legal Elite in Virginia Business in both business law and intellectual property. His contributions to the local business community don’t go unnoticed – he was nominated for Small Business Advocate of the Year in 2007 and 2011 by members of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. Neal joined Woods Rogers in 1988 after completing undergraduate work in accounting at Virginia Tech (magna cum laude) and earning his law degree from the College of William & Mary. He was a member of the Order of the Coif and the William & Mary Law Review. He’s a board member of the Al Pollard Memorial Foundation, helping to raise scholarship funds in the name of a Roanoke corporate leader.
