About
I am committed to compassionate advocacy for my clients, using the law as a tool to help individuals and businesses solve problems andplan for the future. In recent years, Ihave shifted the focus of my practice from litigator to facilitator, usingmodern methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation and CollaborativeFamily Law, to help clients resolve conflicts peacefully and respectfullywithout resort to the courts. I alsorepresent children, and serve as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated clients, whenappointed by the courts.I began mylegal career representing migrant farm workers in Upstate New York and the Finger Lakes region. After several years as Clinical Attorney and Lecturer at Cornell Law School,I entered private law practice, first as a sole practitioner, then as a partnerin the firm of Wiggins & Masson, and again as a sole practitioner. I have represented thousands of clients instate and federal courts in trials and appeals and in negotiations.

Robin handled a possible home purchase. I was young, naive and inexperienced. She barely looked at the purchase agreement, allowed me to put a 5000$ deposit The deal eventually fell thorough and when I asked about the 5000 deposit she shrugged her shoulders. I learned later that if the deal falls through for lack of the ability to finance the deposit should be returned. But the worst part of all was that she and the sellers attorney kept arguing while myself and the seller actually got along. AND she charged me 3000$ for all the phone calls they had arguing about something that was not arguable- I couldn’t get the financing!!!!! Terrible!
