About
Thank you for visiting my Avvo profile. I hope what follows is helpful to you assessing the need and fit. I returned to live and work in Chelan County, Washington State in late January 2014 an just opened my law practice after opening my business brokerage and litigation support/appraisal valuation business. Yes, I operate three istinct businesses. The legal profession is undergoing unprecendent change and delivering value (at an affordable price) is critical. The legal profession is also raising questions about the extent to which the adversarial system works for individuals, families, and business; does being adversarial ultimately lead to the truth? an efficient outcome? are other options better suited to arrive at a resolution? While I have my doubts about the efficacy of the adversarial system properly and affordably addressing issues, I have experience in litigation. As an attorney, my mission is to develop business relationships with clients that enable me to provide far more than just legal advise. What I bring to the "table" are comprehensive skills intended to assist creating and preserving value, developing transition and exit strategies that are tax efficient and fair. My business, appraisal and tax background, training, work experience and collaborative aproach are factors that differentiate me from other attorneys and other law practices. While I have reservations about the efficacy of the adversarial system, it is a fixtureThank you for considering me as your potential legal counsel.

I reached out to Roberto on a cold call to ask about appraisal and the Wenatchee-area economic landscape as someone out of the region, and we hit it off and ended up chatting—in which he was friendly, patient, and offered helpful insight. There's just something rare and invaluable about professionals who—right out of the gate—seem happy to help, and don't give off the vibe that they're in a premature hurry to get paid. I had such a good feeling about Roberto as a human being and an attorney that I hired him within 24 hours to advise on my principled departure with my then-employer. His legal help was thorough, clear, well presented, and helped me get the most out of my principled departure while staying true to my ethics of honesty, consideration, and self respect. Further, he helped me present myself in a way that helped things end amicably with my then-employer. I'd be happy to work with Roberto again. He's the kind of guy I'd be honored to hire or just grab a beer with and chat. A class act.
I contacted Roberto regarding a traffic infraction that I had received while in Chelan and he was able to help me through the process of what to do next. Living in Lynnwood, I understood that I would have to seek council in the Chelan/Wenatchee area if need be and my search led me to Mr. Castro. We spoke on the phone shortly after I reached out to his firm and we began going through what my best options were. He was able to answer all of my questions perfectly and was also able to provide information that I did not have. After suggesting to defer the ticket I began that process shortly after and ended up being granted the deferral by the judge. I was fortunate enough, through his advice, to save money on lawyer costs and still get my infraction deferred.
I contacted Mr. Castro to help with the restoration of my firearm rights. I had worked with a different attorney and after four months it was mutually agreed he had over extended I needed to take the case elsewhere. Mr. Castro handled everything in a timely and professional manner. Everything was completed in a few short weeks. I am very happy to have found him and would certainly recommend him to anyone needing similar representation.
Mr. Castro is well educated. Has a vast knowledge of bankruptcy laws, and is willing to help you without a retainer up front. If this review allowed 10 stars I would've given them. Thanks for everything!
Roberto was very helpful in that we had a bit of a complication moving across the country in the middle of our case. Roberto helped us every step of the way being patient with us and helping us through our situation.
Mr. Castro took over a Chapter 7 bankruptcy that had bern started and abandonded by another firm. He was very reassuring and I was very pleased with the explanation of the process, and fact that he met with me on a weekend and that the case was filed so quickly. If you live in Chelan or North Central WA, I recommend that you contact him!
I recently consulted with Roberto H. Castro regarding a tax issue. He provided me with excellent advice in relation to my unique needs. I highly recommend Roberto to anyone who appreciates, honesty, integrity, and needs an attorney who delivers exactly as advertised.
I worked closely with Roberto Casto - as a business appraiser - on a litigation support consulting project in 2013, related to lost profits and lost value. It was immediately apparent that Roberto had expertise in business valuation litigation-support as he was able to provide myself and the the attorney with compelling research and useful insights that would serve counsel in cross-examination. Roberto's expertise was unique because he has experience both as an appraiser and as an attorney. I would recommend using Roberto in either setting: assisting lead counsel and/or serving as an expert for lost profits, lost value and damages related to valuation.

Castro.
