Attorney Tukey is an amazing lawyer. He is very knowledgable about family law in Connecticut and what was more important to me is that he goes about the law in a gentlemanly fashion. In the course of my custody battle I was accused of several false things including threatening my ex, I was falsely served with an ex-parte restraining order, and was subsequently accused of breaking into her house. While my ex and her lawyer were busy making wild accusations to which she had no proof, Attorney Tukey never once joined in. He methodically sifted through the nonsense they were spewing out and disproved it one piece at a time. When we had to go to a hearing for the restraining order his extreme competence as a trial lawyer was paramount at discrediting my ex's accusations and got the restraining order declined. He also got my child support dropped to a reasonable amount that I can afford to continue to live with for the foreseeable future. We ended up entering into a final agreement mediated by the GAL I left the negotiation very pleased. He represents me excellently and equally important honorably. His primary concern for me was to restore my visitation and try to quell the brewing hostility between myself and my ex wife. When I brought up the topic of his fees he was not concerned, he said he knew I was good for it, and to pay him what I could when I could. His rates are reasonable as is his billing. I don't think I could find a better lawyer, and I am more than satisfied with the services he rendered me. He is a great man and an equally great lawyer. If the woman from the other review is telling the truth about the end result then I assure you her daughter was not on the up and up. There is no way Artorney Tukey would allow a fit parent to lose any amount of rights to a child without so piece of damning information proving them to be otherwise. Again there is no better legal representation for your money. I would happily pay triple what I did for the service I received.
