My experience with this lawyer was excellent. He represented me in a divorce case that was expected to be quite rough. He guided me through the process, provided advice, and kept me appraised of all information as it arose. He returned my calls promptly and his staff was wonderful. If not for this lawyer, I would have lost my home (the one I owned before marrying a real jerk) to the jerk I was divorcing. As for being all about money, he has been patient with me for a few years and has allowed me to pay him monthly.
He only goes for low lying fruit! Will not do anything to help fight for you! I questioned his loyalty at one point because everything I asked for he was like well and all these excuses would come out. He said to go find another lawyer and that’s what I did. She fought hard for me and got me all the things I ask him to do. And I won! I had to pay her for what I paid him to do and that made my stomach hurt. In my opinion he is a terrible lazy excuse for a lawyer. Just don’t hire him...he’s a rip off
I was displeased with my experience with Robert Swan. I hired him to write a prenuptial agreement for me and my fiancee. He took my money up front and I had to nag him many times to finally get the prenup in the state that I wanted it. Some of the drafts he sent me had significant typos, including one that would have likely rendered the agreement nonsensical. Ultimately, he fixed all of them. However, he was not available the week before the wedding for the final signing, so my fiancee's attorney had to use her notary. Here I am signing my prenup today, the day before my wedding, a process I started in March. In his defense, he did come highly recommended, so perhaps others have had a different experience.
disappointed with results of final divorce. Felt he didn't really care once he got paid. thought he should have stuck up for me being he was hired to do so.
I hired this attorney for a custody matter he had me plead guilty and never gave me the results I was hoping for. No reassurance from him or his staff what so ever. I had to hire another attorney to get me out of the sItuation I was in. Mr. Swan continued to want payment and put a lien and continues to charge interest for a job he was not competent enough to see through!
