Rob Stober, 49, graduated from University of Miami Law School in 1996 and is admitted to the Florida Bar and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Stober is a partner at Hershoff, Lupino & Yagel LLC in Tavernier where he’s worked since 2003, concentrating in litigation and broad based dispute resolution. A licensed USCG captain since 1986, Stober successfully completed a catamaran race across the Atlantic in 2002.A graduate of Leadership Monroe County Class XVI, Stober is the Justice Teaching Volunteer at Plantation Key School and a past Take Stock in Children mentor. He serves on the boards of the Upper Keys Rotary Club and the Islamorada Fishing and Conservation Trust, and earned the 2015 Big Kahuna title for his record-breaking efforts fundraising for the Good Health Clinic.Stober has twice served as president of board of directors for the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce, and in 2014 received the Irving Eyster Award for Community Service. He was recently appointed to the District Advisory Committee for the Monroe County Tourist Development Council. Stober lives in Tavernier with his wife and local business-owner, Claudia, their two daughters and dog, Beaux.
