Robert R. Romero, Jr. has practiced law in Kootenai County since becoming a member of the State Bar in 1996. He was born and raised in Northern California and graduated from California State University at Chico. While there, Robert participated in intercollegiate sports and worked on a part-time basis with a real estate investment group. Following college graduation, Robert worked in the title insurance field and eventually became a lead title officer at a large firm in Sacramento, California. With the downturn of the real estate market, Robert entered law school at the University of Idaho. In his final two years of law school, he was a member of the Federalist Society and eventually became President of the University's Chapter. In 1994, Robert was appointed to the City of Moscow’s Board of ZoningAdjustments and in December 1995 Robert received his law degree. Upon admission to the Idaho State Bar in 1996, Robert worked at a small real estate law firm before he was hired by the Kootenai County Public Defenders Office, where he gained valuable courtroom experience. Robert joined Brown & Justh Law firm in October 2001 and brought with him additional trial advocacy skills along with a strong background in real estate and criminal defense. He became a member of the firm in 2004. Robert's general law practice includes estate planning, real estate, general business, criminal defense and juvenile criminal defense. He continues to be a member of the Federalist Society and the Idaho State Bar Real Estate Section.
