My practice primarily focuses on assisting clients with intellectual property matters. Outside of the courtroom, I have represented clients with matters involvingI regularly represent parties in trademark cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. I also have assisted clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.I have experience with complex litigation matters in both federal and state courts. From drafting the initial pleadings, to navigating discovery and procedural issues, through closing argument at trial, I have assisted clients with every aspect of civil litigation in various types of cases, including:I am admitted to practice in the appellate and trial courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.I graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law with a J.D. and hold a B.S. in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. While in law school, I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology and received a Certificate in Intellectual Property. Before entering private practice, I served as judicial clerk to the Hon. F. G. Rockwell, III, a Circuit Court Judge in Chesterfield County, Virginia.
