About
Robert D. Malin is a Partner at the law firm Williams McDaniel, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of probate, elder law and tax and estate planning. Mr. Malin's primary area of practice is in the drafting and implementation of estate plans ranging from drafting simple Wills and counseling clients on how assets pass at death to drafting, funding and implementing complex Trusts. Prior to joining Wyatt, Robert D. Malin practiced with Williams McDaniel, P.C. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Management from Maryville College in 2005. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he worked in the mortgage and finance industry for two years. He graduated tenth in his class, magna cum laude, from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. He is a former clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert S. Benham, Division One of the Shelby County Probate Court. He was also an extern for the Memphis Area Legal Services Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. Rob has also served as a substitute adjunct professor for a Trust Law class at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphrey’s School of Law. Rob has served by appointment of the Shelby County Probate Court as Guardian ad Litem in complicated Conservatorship cases and as an independent Administrator in a contested probate estate administration. He is a member of the Arkansas, Memphis, Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Associations.
