Kupfer Law Offices, S.C. was started in 1954 by William O. Kupfer. Robert C. Kupfer joined the firm in 1982. Robert C. Kupfer focuses on civil matters, such as probate, wills, trusts, estate planning, divorce, adoption, real estate and business law.In addition, he has served as a supplemental Court Commissioner for Kenosha County since 1990, handling family, traffic, juvenile and adult criminal intake, juvenile delinquency and protective service cases, as well as small claims intake, trials and restitution hearings.The Honorable Robert C. Kupfer presides over the consolidated Municipal Courts of the Village and Town of Somers, having served in the capacity since 2005. Robert Kupfer was re-elected to serve a four-year term of Somers Municipal Judge on April 9, 2019.Judge Kupfer graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1982. He previously graduated with honors from the school of business at Marquette University in 1978 with a double major in finance and marketing. Judge Kupfer is currently the President of the Wisconsin Municipal Judges Association. He has served on several local committees devoted to legal and environmental issues.
