About

If you are like most people, you are viewing this website because you are facing a problem so serious you think you need an attorney. Unfortunately, by the time most people reach that conclusion, they are absolutely right - they do need an attorney. In addition to having a serious problem, you may also be intimidated about hiring a lawyer.First, let me assure you that most attorneys are not like the ones you hear about in lawyer jokes. Most are reputable, hard-working, and deeply concerned about their clients' rights. The first question you need to ask yourself in selecting an attorney is whether or not the attorney you are thinking about hiring meets your needs.Once you have determined that an attorney has the expertise you need, the next step is to determine if you feel comfortable with him/her. This can be accomplished with a phone call or an initial consultation. This initial consultation is free.As a veteran myself, I understand the special concerns of those who have served. I honor this service, and am eager to help my fellow-veterans with any legal problems within my field of expertise. The Law Office of Robert Hohenberger specializes in the areas of Family Law, Consumer Bankruptcy, and Business Bankruptcy. I am Board Certified in Family Law, Consumer Bankruptcy, and Commercial Bankruptcy. I have to admit my fiancé and I have never fully utilized his services. I can say that he is a straight shooter and told us the truth. First that she had to be a resident of Texas for 6 months and that all divorces are contested. He gave us a good faith estimate. My fiancé and I decided to find a "deal". We tried one of those no fault divorce places and emailed her in Houston. She did a good job but in the end my fiance's husband didn't sign. He wasted our time and about 1200 dollars. So it wasn't a good deal as the other attorney wasn't able to go any further. She didn't tell us that at the beginning. So we have to start all over again. We moved before we could get another attorney in Houston. When we tried to get one here in Waco the first attorney said we would have to retain one in Houston as well as not seeming to care much about my fiance's situation. So we contacted Roberts office. The person who answered the phone was very professional and gave us access to the lawyer who was there. Robert said he would have to research that issue. He also asked my fiancé why she didn't follow up with him after 6 months. He seemed genuinely concerned for her and our situation. He discussed with a retired judge and gave us a referral up here because he found out he couldn't represent her. He is a really nice and a true professional. He helped us when he didn't need to. A good lawyer is hard to find and I am pretty sure we would have retained him if we still lived in Houston. His office is very professional as well.

I have been working with Mr. Hohenberger for over a year and also consulting with him on legal issues regarding Family Law, Wills and Co-Habitation (roommates). I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable with the laws and finding new/updated laws.
