About
Being raised on a farm in the mid-west has taught me the value of always being honest with people, even when the news may be bad or not what my client wishes to hear. Being a member of the U.S. Navy's Underwater Demolition/SEAL teams taught me the value of commitment to do the very best that I can-always. These are the skills and values that each and every one of my clients benefit from when they choose to hire me. My trial experience has been gained in local, state and federal court systems throughout the state of Washington. The diversity of my legal experience spans from murder charges to sexual misconduct allegations to shoplifting and juvenile charges. If you are being investigated for possible criminal charges or you have been charged with committing a crime, you want someone who is honest and forthright with their advice. Someone who is not reluctant to go the extra mile for you and protect your rights or the rights of a loved one. My free initial consultation is an excellent opportunity for you to see if my legal representation will be of benefit to you.

Attorney Charles Freeby was immediately responsive to my needs and I would seek his help without hesitation in the future. It has been a couple of years since I obtained his services, but from what I can remember, I have only complimentary memories of his service.
Mr. Freeby had a plan from the start and really worked for me with a good outcome. He was mindful of my financial situation and kept the expense within what he quoted me. He helped me work through the legal issue I had so that I could move on with my life.
The stressful event that parcipitated legal intervention for me was made way less stressful by my experience with Mr. Rob Freeby, Esquire. He listened thoroughly, asked pertinent questions and explained the facts of the law that could work for or against my situation, and defended me well in the legal process, while reassuring me personally through the ordeal, and working to keep fees as low as reasonably possible, all of which was key in helping my legal experience be a good one.
Mr freeby kept in touch and informed me during the process . He explained the cost and billing procedure and There was no hidden fees.
Robert Freeby did an excellent job representing me in court. He kept me informed as to the progress of my case and options available. He seemed to have the energy to vigorously represent me against accusations of my ex-wife to be.
I hired Rob in a defense of a frivolous anti harassment suit brought by a neighbor when I needed legal defense as they had legal representation. The counsel for the plaintiff made wild and unsupported accusations in court to which Rob was able to respond calmly and cogently with a depth of legal knowledge that seemed to convince the court that the case was invalid. Because of the depth of pretrial motions the plaintiff produced our case was heard late in the day - Rob stayed on point and even though it was very late he was able to argue the case to a positive decision. Through all of the exasperation he was able to keep me on task to help him prepare and answer the motions so the case was inevitably tossed out. Rob Freebys background is the reason I picked him. He is tenacious, prepared and has a savviness about him that sees through half truths to get to a winning outcome. His criminal defense experience gives him a perceived toughness on the issues. I would recommend Rob today, tomorrow and of course into the future.
My experience with Mr. Freeby and his office staff was extremely positive and the outcome successful. I was kept appraised of our progress throughout the journey and this morning notified of the successful outcome. Mr. Freeby's grasp of the situation was immediate and impressive, I would highly recommend him.
Robert and his staff were always very attentive and informative. His receptionist was always friendly and followed up with me when needed. I would recommend his firm to my friends and family.
Robert is as polite an attorney as you will find. He knows his stuff inside and out. He got my case thrown out in about 5 minutes. HIGHLY recommended!!
In 1999, Mr. Freeby represented me in domestic violence case, and my mother and father in a subsequent restraining order filed by an ex-girlfriend. He was able to show proof to a judge to have the petition for the order against my parents dismissed. As for me, at my pretrial hearing, upon my own choice, I opted for a Newton plea, neither admitting or denying guilt. My charges were reduced to Reckless Endangerment 2°, a gross misdemeanor as opposed to the possible felony charge I would have possibly received upon verdict. Mr. Freeby did not agree with my choice to not go to trial, as he was convinced that we would win, but he accepted and respected my decision. I am grateful for his service to our country as a former Navy SEAL and for his services in defense of my case. Ten years later, I ultimately had a petition filed in Tacoma court to vacate all charges against me and my record is spotless once again. I would highly recommend Mr. Freeby's services to any and all who may require them.
