I had very good luck with Rita. She handled my case very well and outclassed the opposing lawyer. I felt very comfortable with her and felt she came to court very prepared. I would gladly use her again if a situation was ever needed again.
I read the other reviews and I'm not sure what their cases were but I was very impressed with Rita Raihle and have recommended her many times to others. She was very knowledgable about her advise and my rights. She quoted me an estimate on my divorce and she never went above that budget. She was quick to answer my questions and help me with a restraining order. I would highly recommend her.
Rita appeared to care at our first visit. After I hired her, it would often take several days to a week before she would get back to me, and when she finally did, she did not answer all my questions. Worst of all, she filed paperwork and made appointments without even informing me she was doing so. Even the other party was upset about this. Perhaps she simply wasn't interested in my case; I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this was my experience, and I'm grateful I had other alternatives--as in, an attorney who treats my case with utmost respect and careful attention.
not trust worthy. Takes weeks to return calls, does not follow up with questions/concerns. Have had to take multiple unpaid days off from work for court hearings after showing up at court I'm told that the dates have been changed however I have not received any notification from Mrs Raihle. I feel my time is not important to her, I would never recommend her to others!!
My initial consultation with Rita gave me false hope on a time frame and cost. The 3 months has turned into 16 months and counting. The cost is 3 times the amount estimated and counting. Rita would go months without returning phone calls. I had to speak with the office manager and complain at one point to get a response. Rita would tell me what she was going to do and it would take months for her to complete a task (after several reminders). She did not appear confident in front of the judge and could not establish a clear argument. She lost a key piece of evidence that ultimately made me lose part of my case. When I challenged her on the less than competent job she did, she withdrew as my attorney instead of repairing the damage then left me sitting with a motion still pending. Attorney Raihle is a good example of why lawyers have a bad reputation.
Demonstrated very poor performance in representing me in my divorce case. Did not follow through with important legal matters in a timely manner and failed to file important legal documents pertaining to my case. Delayed our first court hearing to address violation of temporary orders already in place by the opposing party as well as address the need for other temporary orders to be put into place for 2 months. When we did finally get a scheduled hearing, she showed up late and forgot to even file a motion. For that reason, none of my concerns were addressed. She also failed to object to the motion that was presenting by the opposing party per my request. Consequently, it got filed, which was not in my favor. After dismissing her from my case, she delayed filing the stipulation to withdraw from the case per my request, which has caused me further problems as she failed to mention she was going on vacation for almost two weeks in the middle of it all. She used up all of my retainer fee and basically got one thing accomplished, which was a request for a different Judge. As a client, I felt she failed as a legal representative on so many levels. I'm now left in a position to basically start all over again, which is costly and has left me helpless. I would NOT recommend Rita Raihle as an attorney.
