Ricky help us write and revise our wills. something we have needed to have done for a while. His staff also aided in sending us the originals as well as the revisions in a very timing matter. Great people to work with. Would highly recommend Ricky Curtis.
Mr. Curtis did a free consultation and when it was over I told him that I wanted to hire him for my probation violation. Before he would take my money, he suggested that I wait and let him make some phone calls to make sure that it would be money well spent. He said he didn't want to take my money, and then not be able to help me. He made some phone calls, and then let me know that my money would be better spent on paying my fines and costs, and that would help me more than paying a lawyer. I paid the fines, and they dropped the violation.
Ricky is an excellent attorney. He always calls you back (unlike most). It may be the next day. He does return your call. He fought for us. He knew the law. He was very professional. Most of all, answered all of our questions. I refer to Ricky for any legal issues I have.
I can't say enough good things about Mr. Curtis. He is highly intelligent in Law. My case was a complete mess for the pass 10+ years and nobody could explain my Parenting Plan too me or understand my Parenting Plan or defend me correctly in court. Mr. Curtis was able to research my case from the beginning to the present and identify where I stood in this legal nightmare. Mr. Curtis was highly professional, intelligent, sensitive and understanding to me through out my whole legal process. He truly is the BEST attorney (and worth the money) I have ever hired. I can not say enough great things about Mr. Curtis. I highly recommend Ricky Curtis to my family and friends and anyone who reads this! Ricky Curtis ROCKS!!
Mr. Curtis seemed to be more interested in his impending career advancement than our case. We missed a court date because we were not notified of the date. We had ample evidence in our favor, but we feel he was not fully invested in our case. He was a very capable lawyer; however, he was just not interested in representing our family.
Consulted him twice and he seemed all about helping me and I planned to hire him. He Was very professional and to the point, but never returned calls or emails so I hired someone else. I just can't recommend him or his incompetent legal secretary. I always got the runaround from her.
Ricky A.W. Curtis was supposed to handle our appeal to the COA after a divorce case. He filed extensions to the COA so many times I can't even remember how many there were. It was ridiculous. He went to the Court house and continued our case without our knowledge. He missed a court date and it cost us $7,500. After several years our Appeal was denied due to his irresponsibility. He essentially never filed anything. He sent us a text one morning telling us our case was on the docket to be heard in 30 minutes. We didn't even know we had Court that day. Communication was non-existant. He was the hardest attorney to get a hold of. His receptionist, Amy (and another lady after she was for fired) would also never respond. They would often make excuses as to why he wasn't responding. We called when we knew he was there, & were told he was it of the office. Everything was last minute. Totally unorganized. I wouldn't hire him if he was the last attorney on Earth. Describing him as lazy is actually a compliment. It's much worse. Save your money.
Handled a case for a family member. He never responds to questions, calls, or emails. He also does not know enough about the law to keep you from having problems after your case is over.
