I am not your normal attorney.  My background prior to becoming an attorney was in finance and accounting.  My strong interest in numbers, small business issues and taxes allows me to provide clients with a unique take on the law and how to navigate business and personal matters in a tax efficient manner.  Prior to working as a lawyer I held positions in a variety of different industries including retail, banking, and software.I have degrees in Business Administration for Oregon State University and a post-bacc Accounting Certificate from Portland State.  I graduated from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark.  My wife and I live in the local community with our daughter and two dogs.  I love exploring the city with my family, going to off leash dog parks with my chocolate lab, playing golf with my dad, and watching NFL and college football.
