He has successfully represented thousands of injured workers who live in or near Western Pennsylvania. He works diligently to help clients who have suffered total and partial disabilities in the workplace. Oftentimes, work injuries can involve claims against other companies or individuals, in addition to Workers’ Compensation claims. Attorney Schubert has a great deal of experience in both areas, so he is able to provide his clients with other avenues that may enhance their chances of getting compensation for both claims.Attorney Schubert is highly reputable and recognized as a quality trial lawyer throughout the State of Pennsylvania. He obtained certification as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1999. To receive this prestigious certification, he needed an extensive amount of trial court experience, recommendations from peers, judges, and adversaries, and he also had to complete a written exam that involved questions related to ethics and legal ability. He was recertified in 2004, 2009 and again in 2014, and he is proud of his accomplishments. This is a very exclusive certification, and only a limited number of attorneys in Pennsylvania have achieved the status. Richard felt that he had to make the effort to get the certification so that his prospective clients would feel secure in knowing that they would be receiving top-quality legal representation when he was hired to handle their legal matters.Richard has been a key leader in multiple trial lawyer organizations as well. In addition to serving on the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Board of Governors for the last three decades, he has also served in all executive positions of the organization. He served as president from 2003 to 2004. Before taking on state positions, Attorney Schubert was a Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association Board Member, and he still remains in that position to this day. He was president from 1993 to 1994, and he served in all executive offices of the organization during the 1980’s.Attorney Schubert is a member in good standing of the prestigious Allegheny County Academy of Trial Lawyers and he served on its Board of Governors as well. This organization is limited to 250 trial practitioners whose principal office is located in Allegheny County. Admission is by nomination and approval of the membership.
