About

Hello! I am "the immigration guy."  My firm is dedicated not only to the practice of immigration law, but also to the principles that every human being has the right to fair and just treatment. Each individual is addressed with dignity and respect not because of his or her race, religion or birthplace, but because of his or her humanity.      Much of my time is dedicated to the representation of indigent clients.  The vision I have is that my practice allows me to give back as much as I take from this world.  I allocate my time consistent with this philosophy by devoting a significant amount of my time to the areas of advocacy and pro bono representation.      I firmly believe that my purpose is to assist all those I can.  My clients provide me the ability to live out my purpose.  They allow me the opportunity to be of maximum service.  Immigration, unlike other areas of law, allows me the opportunity to live out my values without conflict with the client. All pro bono cases are accepted through Casa Cornelia Legal Center.

I consulted with Mr. Sterger regarding my friend (an American citizen) who is currently married to a French citizen and living in France. Her husband, adopted away from his homeland of Columbia, has had trouble being admitted into the US, and they were seeking help with this. He gathered the information that I had, and provided me with excellent information to share with them to initiate the process. He then scheduled a Skype appointment with them so that he could consult with them personally. We all feel very confident and comfortable with the advice and direction we have received from Mr. Sterger. We feel that this situation has been handled well, and we look forward to resolution.
