My experience with Richard Rose was excellent!! He was always very responsive and attentive to my case. He answered all my questions and was very patient explaining to me step by step. I highly recommend his services!
Richard is knowledgeable, timely, considerate, down to earth and professional. Richard really knows his stuff and covers all the bases! Richard always respected me as his client and took the time to thoroughly explain circumstances and options. He also kept in constant communication. Even on days when he was unavailable he would take the time to send me a quick response to let me know when he would be next able to connect.
We were referred to Attorney Rose by his colleague, Barbara Richmond, who was my excellent divorce attorney 18 years ago. Richard went outside his usual are of practice and helped us with a landlord dispute over a vacation rental house whose failed septic system ruined our summer and forced us to vacate with nowhere to go. (Our own house in the Vermont mountains was rented out for another month and we could not return home.) Although this dispute was outside Richard's usual practice of family law, he advised and represented us expertly. He clearly described the options available to us, including the possibility of seeking considerable damages in court and all the time and preparation that would entail, so we could confidently weigh the risks and benefits. We were able to reach an out of court settlement with the landlord that included a refund of our rent plus legal fees. We were not only satisfied with the fairness of the settlement, but working with Attorney Rose restored our faith in human decency and kindness. Richard has a wonderful sense of humor, is patient, polite, knowledgeable and compassionate. His wonderful demeanor transformed an ugly experience; instead of being haunted by our awful summer, we'll always remember meeting a really good person who helped us. I've now had two flawless experiences with this law firm. It is heartening to know that smart, good people are out there to assist us legally when we need it. My husband and I recommend Attorney Rose and his firm wholeheartedly.
I went to Richard Rose in a panic after being served court papers for child custody. I did not know my rights by law as a mother to a child born out of wedlock and was in extreme anxiety because I had never dealt with court or lawyers. He made time to see me right away and took time to explain my different options, what I was entitled to, and give me advice on how to proceed. He truly stands by what benefits the child in these cases where the parents wants/needs seem to drown out what is best for the actual children. He gave nothing but genuine, sound advice, and gave me confidence that things would work out. I decided to hire Richard because he exuded a calm, confident demeanor and was very knowledgeable in regards to family law. After our meeting, I was served yet again for temporary orders and had to be in court within less than a week. I was under the impression that I wouldn’t be going to court for a couple more months, and was worried that it would be too short notice for him to help me with my case. Richard reassured me that everything would be fine. Not only did he take my case with less than a week to prepare, but he went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place and ready for my court day. He gave me constant positive reassurance throughout, and was sympathetic to my anxiety/nerves. On the day of court, he was knowledgeable, confident, and professional. He truly stood up for my rights and the best interest of my child. We had a successful day and were able to move my temporary order to permanent orders so I can avoid another court trip. I am extremely grateful to Richard, and glad that I found him to represent me. I will be hiring Richard Rose again to see my custody case through to the end.
