He tried over and over again to get a DA or a judge to give her probation. As much as he tried, no one would go along with him. He kept trying. Each step of the way, he met with us, in court or in his office and explained that we weren't done yet. He would find a way. It took a year, but he did. My daughter got probation. She went to county jail and will be there 6 months. After she was convicted and given the time, the OC Register on line had 10 comments saying my daughter should go to prison for life and the judge whould be fired. Mr. Poland did a great job and kept trying when other lawyers would have given up. My daughter could get a misdemeanor out of this and liver her life.
