Richard J. Lewis was born in the Midwest and grew up on a farm in Iowa. He attended Andrews University in Michigan, where he earned both a Bachelor in Theology and a Master of Divinity degree. In 1977, Mr. Lewis earned a Master of Science in Public Health at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, Calif. Mr. Lewis was a pastor for 14 years, serving in the East and Midwest.In 2000, Mr. Lewis earned a degree of Juris Doctor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego and passed the California Bar in 2001. He received two Jefferson Medals for being first in his class in respective subjects in law school, as well as the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence and two Cali Excellence for the Future Awards. He has been practicing for over 10 years in the San Diego area.He is committed to serving his clients through their legal problems with honesty and integrity, as well as with personal, individual care.Mr. Lewis is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, as well as the Foothills Bar Association in San Diego County. He is associated with the AARP Legal Services Network.
