I was recommended this lawyer through a friend of ours. After contacting this lawyer, it two days to get back to me. I didn't have any luck finding anyone else so I chose to keep this lawyer. I've never had a lawyer before and hardly ever do reviews so I felt it was important to resolve this over a review. I hired a lawyer to help me sell my house bc I was moving out of state during that time do I thought it was necessary at the time. During my closing of the home, I had to open up a escrow account for $5000 promise agreement to pull a permit for a my house for the kitchen. The lawyer said he would keep the money in a escrow account until the work is done with the house. So after a few months, I decided to contact the lawyer over email and wanted to ask him a few questions on the longevity with this project taking place. I didn't think it would take almost 5 months to pull a permit from this house. I'm living over 22 hours away here now.. I tried contacting this lawyer for support and to see what my options are moving forward with project. I emails and called this lawyer over 10 times asking for help. Not one time I ever heard back this lawyer. Last time I check he was my lawyer and I was starting to think this was a scam simply because I never heard from this guy. So finally, I got ahold of his secretary which she was incredible. She was very helpful and supportive the entire time. She tried sticking up for saying he was busy. Which I highly doubt he was. To not answer a email, a phone call. I wasn't asking him to wanting him to more work. It was answering a few questions. This was highly unprofessional!! The worst part was this so called lawyer charged me $200 more and took it out of my escrow check without letting me know about it. How is that right??? He never called me, answered a email or any kind of communication whatsoever. This is by far the worst experience I went through with a lawyer or with anyone in that matter. I hope whoever reads this hopefully goes through someone else.
