However, when I e-mailed him recently inquiring about representation regarding an Ohio Dissolution of Marriage, his reply was "I don't do divorces any more (sic); if the matter goes forward as a dissolution, my fee is $1500 up front". Well, as a lay person, I can only presume some dissolutions become divorce complaints. I wasn't comfortable with his response.
