COVID.. an excuse to not have to follow up. Who do these decisions affect? The small innocent ones. A decision was made to give 50/50 custody to a proven addict who had manipulated the system.. again.. Sober for barely 6 months… I had to remind her to follow up with the other party. I had to ask and push for an interview with my child. When I asked her to conduct a meeting with my child I was told if I thought it was necessary I could schedule a zoom meeting. So non personal and of course a child is not going to be completely honest unless they are placed in a non biased environment. My child begs to not go to the other parents house, told the social worker who was sent that she didn’t want to be with the other parent. Very unsatisfied with the level of communication, research, and follow up.

It also took over 2 weeks to get the one and only Conversation with her. She was short and rude but talked highly if the other party off the jump.
