Ms. Smith was a joy to work with. She was knowledgeable yet personable. I never felt overwhelmed by her process. She took the time to understand my needs and concerns and put me quickly at ease. I found her services professional yet fairly priced. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an attorney.

Smith Law Office handled my divorce in 1991. Ms. Smith was professional throughout, kept me informed as progress was made, and made a difficult time easier to bear as I knew my case was in very capable hands. I would recommend her services to anyone that needs an attorney.

Rebecca was professional, caring, and understanding. After firing my previous lawyer I found Rebecca, she communicated well during the entire process, clearly explained each step, and carefully outlined my options and possible outcomes. She was knowledgeable, took a personal interest in my case and settled it better than expected! Thank you Rebecca and it was a pleasure working with you.

Rebecca Smith help us with the adoption of our 2 young grandchildren after their mother passed away. She helped us maneuver the court system and deal with social services. Most important to me, she advocated for the safety and well-being of our grandchildren. We definitely got the impression but she cared and believed in our cause, first and foremost, where other attorneys were more interested in compensation.

My family and I felt absolutely helpless in regards to a theft we had at our home. Ms. Smith was the only true blessing we had throughout this horrific ordeal. We were the victims and everywhere we tuned, from the investigators, to our car lending company, we were treated like we were the criminals. There are no words that could possibly express our gratitude and sincere appreciation for Ms. Smith's sincere concern for our family. She was quick to provide exceptional advice and resolution. Thank you Ms. Smith, our family will definitely recommend you to everyone we know. Sincerely, Debbie

Mrs. Smith is very knowledgable and worked diligently to have my case dismissed. I was well informed about any changes to my case from her. I made a great decision choosing Mrs. Smith and her law firm.

We needed some paperwork done for our business and she did a fine job getting the matter taken care of for us.

Rebecca is nice there's no question about that. She even gave us a discount off her normal rates. However, I would've paid full price had I known how terrible of a job she was going to do, then use a discounted rate and being sick as an excuse. She completely messed up a divorce and custody. She gave us less than 48 hours notice for deadlines for affidavits and a court date and blamed it on the email going to her personal email address instead of her work email address. Then, didn't even submit the stuff we rushed around to get to her in time. She didn't have an ounce of 'fight' in her when it came to what we needed her to do for us. She was childish and when I expressed my concern for her lack of effort, she took it personal and did even worse from that point on. I think she intentionally sabotaged the case. We were blindsided every step of the way with her and she wasn't proactive or prepared for anything the other side was doing. She failed to notarize things so the judge likely didn't see very important documents that could've changed the outcome. She showed up late to court and totally unprepared. She advised us to drop a protection order (that we never should have agreed to) but she said "if you don't drop it you're going to piss off the judge". She lied right to our face when we asked if a 17 year old could have a voice in the case. After losing every step of the way we finally paid more money to get a different lawyer and the difference between them is night and day. We hired a professional now and it seems as though Rebecca either didn't care or didn't know what she was doing. We've learned that we had other options that Rebecca never mentioned or thought to offer us. We've found out the hard way that the "nice" lawyers are likely the worst lawyers because that's the only thing they have going for them. A free lawyer from a clinic would've tried harder to reach our goals than she did. I'd recommend everyone stay away from her and her terrible service. Once all the dust settles I'd like to sue her to get our money back even if all of it goes to the new lawyer it would satisfy me on a matter of principle, because she should pay us for the poor outcome she helped create. Maybe she's better at other things but for custody and divorce she's terrible!
