I hired Rebecca and her firm when my husband passed away unexpectedly. Though we had our financial affairs in order, we had never finalized a will. Frankly I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Some investment accounts were in my husband’s name and we had to go through probate. The firm walked me through the process and were very sensitive to my personal situation. I also worked w the firm to finalize my own will. They offered convenient hours and once again made the process as easy as possible under difficult circumstances.
I was EXTREMELY skeptical to share personal information, including finances, with anyone especially a lawyer for many reasons even during an initial consultation... However, I initially worked with the firm for estate planning needs for my parents, then myself. I then worked with them for special needs trust, planning and guardianship for my son. And, then, for my divorce. I have referred so many people and families over the years and will continue to do so. They "get it" … Plus, they get major points for employing and empowering women.
When I was asked to leave my seat at a Northern Virginia church for breastfeeding my baby- I felt shamed, violated and without hope. Rebecca Geller's work on this ever important and sensitive case helped me find my voice. Rebecca provided light for countless breastfeeding mothers who have had a similar injustice happen to them. My experience working with The Geller Law Group and with Rebecca Geller personally was a pivotal time in my life. I'm in gratitude of Rebecca's determination, professionalism and dedication to the breastfeeding law and her swift way of upholding our rights.
Rebecca was very patient and responsive to all of our questions as my husband and I created wills and trusts for our minor children. She explained the various options in great detail and guided us through questions and situations that we didn’t even think to consider. The final documents were very thorough and professional. We completed them about a year ago and her team still keeps in touch to ensure that we’re following up on our action items and that there are no loose ends. They handle everything professionally and with great service.
