Ray Nolasco is the worst attorney I have ever had. He is so slow at getting things done. He will require you to get information to him and then he loses it so then asks that you bring it again and again. He is a joke. I would not hire him again if my life depended on it. He either has too much going on that he doesn't have the time to focus or he just doesn't care. Horrible lawyer!
Mr. Nolasco made a lot of promises and seems to have a bit of an ego problem when he explained that upon my DUI hearing, that I would "have it in the bag" in acquiring my hardship permit. He said out of all the cases he's handled maybe 2% came out unfavorable, and that I would have no problems obtaining my BAID device to enable me to drive on a limited basis. I spent months in preparation for this extremely important hearing, in which I had to travel almost 2 hours away to the Bloomington Illinois DMV facility for said hearing only to be denied my hardship permit almost 90 days LATER. Here I am almost 4 months later, wasted time and money and I still do not have my hardship permit and am destitute and desperate. After the hearing he instructed me to call him upon receipt of confirmation letter from the Secretary of State's Office, and I did, he did NOT return any of my calls. Now I am left empty handed without proper representation, thus forcing me to get another attorney. Although he was pretty good in the preparation of the Q&A portion of my hearing, he did not do much else, in the hearing he barely said two words. I feel cheated and robbed. I would NOT recommend him for any DUI representation, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, not worth the $1750.00 for a ONE TIME appearance for my hearing.
Did not respond 95% of the time. Didn't inform me of anything. Gave him the same information multiple times and he just never got it done. I am changing lawyers and since we agreed on a flat rate I am expecting almost all of my money back.
more interested in being nice guy then fighting for his client. I ended up getting another lawyer . Could not trust him to look out for my best interests
