While traveling through South Carolina to Florida for a family Vacation, I let up off my Breaks, due to a major traffic jam and tapped the rear-end of another car. I mean literally, there was no damage to either vehicle. Still, I was given a citation for traveling too fast for conditions. Ray defended me recently regarding a speeding violation I was charged with as I travelled through SC from NC. At the time I was stopped, I did not realize this would be an automatic suspension of my license in NC for speeding in a construction zone more than 15 miles over the posted reduced speed. Finally, after 3 months of committing a traffic violation, the court's judgement was rendered and I never appeared in court. Naively, i thought i could plea my case in person by asking for mercy upon explaining my circumstances. What was even more amazing was his firm found me (sent an unsolicited letter to me) and thanks to google I thought his firm would be a good choice. In my first contact with him via phone (which included sending him the pic), i was convinced pretty quickly that he will be my traffic court advocate. Finally, as a warning, I want to add that he asked me several times during that first conversation about my conduct with the officer who wrote the ticket.
