About
Randy Hurwitz is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death. His representation involves evaluation of claims, settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration and trial. Randy graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1972. He went on to receive his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona State University in 1977. Randy served a one-year internship at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago before returning to Arizona, where he joined a private mental health practice for approximately 10 years.During this time, he also began designing and marketing new homes for several major homebuilders in Arizona and California. Prompted by his success at resolving the occasional disputes that would arise between buyer and seller, he decided to enter the legal profession. In 1994 Randy received his J.D. Degree from Arizona State University College Of Law. He began his legal career at the firm of Anderson, Hurwitz & Harward, P.C., a firm that he and two law school friends formed in 1995. Their firm was twice named in the “Top 10” of small firms by Ranking Arizona” AZ Business magazine. Randy moved on to establish his own law firm in 2006, where he currently dedicates his time and energy to helping injury victims and their families restore dignity and achieve justice. Randy has been an active member of the community, participating in youth programs, and offering pro bono legal advice to the homeless and senior citizens. He has volunteered for the Arizona Senior Citizen’s Law Project and the Volunteer Lawyers Project. He supports numerous animal welfare organizations; he is an avid movie buff, a blues aficionado, and he especially enjoys “acting like a kid” with his grandchildren whenever he can.
