As an experienced family law attorney, Rama enjoys working closely with her clients, ensuring that they understand their rights, their options, and each step of their case. In addition, as an experienced immigration law attorney, Rama is able to understand and assist clients who have immigration questions or are facing immigration consequences as a result of their separation or divorce.Rama is known to go above and beyond for her clients, quickly handling any issues that arise and taking a reasoned approach amidst a stressful and emotional period.  Above all, Rama is dedicated to helping her clients navigate through what is usually a difficult time in their lives while protecting their interests and achieving the most favorable outcome. Her current practice comprises all facets of family law:Rama joined Joseph, Greenwald & Laake in 2015 after clerking for a Domestic Relations Magistrate at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and practicing family law, immigration law, and criminal defense at a small firm in Annapolis, Maryland.Rama received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and while in law school, she represented clients as a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the Immigration Clinic. Prior to law school, Rama received her undergraduate degree in International Business & Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
