About
Rachel Harris Pinson is a native of Childersburg, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007 in the top 30% of her class and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in April of 2009. Rachel is a member of the American Bar Association, Talladega County Bar Association where she is the Secretary/Treasurer, and the Birmingham Volunteer Lawyer’s Program. She is admitted to practice in the Northern and Middle District of Alabama. Rachel is also a member of the Birmingham Bar Women’s Section, Alabama Young Democrats, and the ABA and Alabama Family Law Sections. Rachel currently practices primarily in Talladega County and her practice is primarily devoted to family law, including divorce and post-divorce issues such as custody, child support, alimony, and relocation; adoption; prenuptial/postnuptial and cohabitation agreements and estate planning; and family court issues such as paternity and abuse and neglect cases. While in law school Rachel was a Senior Editor with the Journal of Legal Profession and was a competing member of the Arbitration Competition Team. She was also a leading member of the legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi, the Civil Rights Association, and the women’s association, DORBIN.Rachel has also published the article, “Questioning the Questions: How Voir Dire is Currently Abused and Suggestions for Efficient and Ethical Use of the Voir Dire Process” in the Journal of Legal Profession. She also contributed to the publication of West’s Alabama Family Law. Rachel clerked for Caryl Privett, Alabama Circuit Court Judge for the 10th District, the Alabama Law Institute, and the Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program as a law student. Prior to law school, Rachel graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Rachel also attended the Alabama School of Math and Science

She guided me and made it so much easier.
My son had her as an attorney for a DV case and she was not helpful. We had proof that he never laid a hand on her and she rescheduled the Court Date because on the 4th time going we were told the victim wasnt there, funny that she had missed the other 3 and because of this my son lost his children. For one DV accusation that is still ongoing a no one has looked at the evidence AT ALL
