We only had a couple of weeks to get our process completed and in the most amazing way, from consultation to completion, Rachel was able to make it happen! I would recommend her anytime and will go all those that need Immigation help!!
I met Rachel in person but I am convinced that she’s an Angel in disguised. This Angel God assigned to me is so passionate about her profession and will do everything to make you smile during and at the end of the journey. She handled my case as someone she knew over the years. She’s very knowledgeable and always available to make her clients pleased. Today I’m a happy woman With a status because of God, secondly Angel Rachel hard work. I will recommend her for anyone because she’s a born winner. Thanks so much for everything, Rachel.
Rachel has earned her name if you hear anyone say she is the best. She is well informed and is understanding of the situation and makes sure you are not bamboozled by files and questions and helps you through each steps.
I felt I was losing my mind during all my immigartion woes, but Rachel’s kindness, enthusiasm and expertise was really pivotal during the process of my green card application, and she really helped keep me calm. She was giddy every time we got good news, and was patient with me during the times we had to wait, when I would call her and ask her to explain all of my options, and help me understand why some parts of the application were so difficult. When I began to go through a particularly difficult time in my personal life, Rachel seemed to become even more supportive, and she made efforts to understand how grief was affecting my life. She fought to make sure I had space to process what USCIS was asking for me during my green card application process, and she also made sure I had space to process what was happening in my own life. I wholly recommend her, her legal practice and her incredible expertise. It seemed she was doing so much without breaking a sweat. I would not have made it out whole without her generosity.
A friend referred me to Pratt International Law Firm, where my appointment happened to be with Rachel. We then stayed with Rachel as she started her own practice. She helped us examine the many visa options for getting my fiancé to the US long-term. Without her help, I would have tried many other kinds of visas without success and I would have wasted countless hours researching what to do. With her help, my now-husband’s fiancé visa was approved in 7 months (predicted to have taken 12+ months) and his adjustment of status papers are in process now. His work and advanced parole papers have already been approved, just under 5 months since filing (predicted to gave taken 7-29 months). Rachel is flawless in her work. She knows exactly what the USCIS wants to see and how they want things filed, right down to the order of how to stack all the papers when you mail them in. There are so many documents and copies Rachel had us attach to our forms that are NOT specified on the forms, but Rachel knows the USCIS wants to see them. We have never once been asked to submit additional documentation. On top of all that expertise and precision, Rachel is incredibly kind. She has been welcoming and flexible in every meeting. Each time my husband had questions or was prepping for the interview at the US Embassy, Rachel made time to meet with me so we could call him. Rachel spent lots of time on the phone with us, answering every one of his questions, even if our “time” was up. If you are looking for an expert who is also personable and willing to do anything and everything to help you with your immigration case, talk to Rachel!
Rachel took on our adjustment case in 2018. It was an employment-based green card case, with the added complexity of 245i. She treated us like family throughout the entire process, explaining every move she made in great detail. She was very detailed in her filing, yet USCIS scrutinized the case and initially denied the adjustment. She was quick to respond to the denial and fought hard to get us a favorable decision. She worked overtime for us, digging through old records dating back to 2001 and going as far as contacting our family's old immigration attorney to get sworn statements. Rachel is an excellent lawyer, and more importantly, a great, kind-hearted person. She has deep knowledge of the law but is still not afraid to get 2nd opinions from her peers who specialize in certain areas. We felt very much at ease as she prepared a strong motion to re-open our case. Her hard work and dedication led to the approval of adjustment application. We would recommend her for all your immigration needs.
Mrs. Rachel has been a kind and wonderful lawyer for me. She is always consistent in updating me on my case and answering any question I may have. Even during the time of Covid-19 she stayed in contact with me regularly and would even massage me just to ask how my family and I were doing. Her legal knowledge is only surpassed by her kindness. When I was referred to Mrs. Rachel I was excited but didn't not see hiring her as a real possibility because of financial difficulties but she was kind enough to take on my complicated case pro bono. Words can not describe how grateful I am.
Mrs. Rachel Engebretson took our very complicated case without any delays got to work on it asap! Our case was insanely complicated (previous denied application, complicated medical history etc.). She is highly professional, very knowledgeable of immigration laws and proceedings, super intelligent, has compassion and very professional. We are recommending her to anyone who needs an immigration attorney. Thank you Rachel Engebretson, God bless you.
My case was terrible, as an immigrant single mother coming from abusive relationships. Rachel hold my hands in every step of the process till got approved. Thank God.
My employer was referred by their previous attorney to Pratt International Law where I met Rachel. She was very professional and knowledgeable about employment based immigration. To me she is one of the best immigration attorneys in Twin Cities. She walked us through every single detail in the PERM process and worked with my employer and myself to get it submitted and approved incredibility fast . My case got RFEs and audit request from CIS and Rachel handled those just intelligently perfect! I just completed the AOS interview a few days ago and now waiting for the green card being mailed to me. I strongly recommend Rachel as an immigration attorney to you.
