Rachel provides amazing support and guidance to anyone navigating the difficult waters of child custody. She has skillfully handled every aspect and each step of this process, with the upmost level of professionalism and competency. Rachel ensures my child's best interest is always front and center, and guides me in a positive way to always be part of the best solution. It is a blessing to have her and the expertise she wields in my corner.

Rachel Catt supported me through one of the toughest times. I was lucky to have found a lawyer who was very knowledgeable at what she does. Very responsive and CARING (which you may not get with a lot of lawyers.) I would highly recommend her! She is on your side!

Rachel Catt came into my life in January, 2006. She was referred to me by a personal friend who was a very good Family Court attorney herself, who could not represent me due to the inherent conflict of interest. I count my lucky stars that my friend did make that referral to Rachell. Rachel Catt supported me through the toughest time in my life, to date. From January, 2006 to July, 2007, Rachel zealously pursued my best interests as well as the best interests of my children. She never missed an opportunity to help me "get out of my head" and help me see the big picture; the long view. I don't understand how she does it, but I do know it worked for me. My family and I owe Rachel Catt an unpayable debt. We live in the good graces that she procured for us. She was facing a very well known, and very expensive law firm that was the opposing council, in San Francisco, at the time. While Rachel, at the time, was in business for herself. David and Goliath comes to mind, especially because Rachel procured terms that even she was surprised she could get. David would be, and in fact is proud of his legacy living on in her. 5.0 star rating 3/27/2014 Rachel Catt is a wonderful human being who helped me through the toughest years of my life. Right now, I believe she is in Boulder, Colorado, soon to open up a practice in her new (or newish) home. If you have the chance to work with her, on any issue legal, parenting, divorce, or human issue of working with former loved ones out to "get you" in a divorce or custody battle, you want Rachel by you side! This is my review from her San Francisco-based Legal practice from the 2006-2007 time frame. She is an absolute gem! User her services!!! :-) I can't believe I was so lucky to find Rachel to be my legal representation during my divorce. I can't imagine how I could have survived my "high-conflict" divorce without her unwavering support. I have been a client of Rachel's for over five years. Her Skills: In short, she demonstrated COMPLETE MASTERY of: 1.) Family Law, 2.) The San Francisco Unified Family Court, and 3.) The psychology of the crisis I was going through in this divorce. Her Services: - She patiently explained how the process would go. - She negotiated with opposing counsel effectively and efficiently, and - She won Court Orders from the judge . . . that no one would have dreamed she could get. As a father of two young children (3 and 1 at the start of the divorce), I was at a significant disadvantage in getting generous visitation times from the Court. In negotiations with my x-wife and her very high priced representation, they were intractable, unrealistic, and in fact combative in their pleadings with the Court. Since Stipulations were impossible to agree to, the onus was on Rachel convince the judge. She did it in spades!!! The psychology of being a Client: From my point of view, this ability to speak to my psychological and emotional support during this horrendous process may be the most uncommon and indeed valuable facet of her services to me. Her ability to support me mentally, psychologically, and dare I say spiritually was phenomenal. Integrity: She is one of the finest people I have ever known, and she dispelled every stereotype of lawyers I have ever heard. How did I find her? She was the number one name (out of three) that my friend who is in fact a family court attorney in San Francisco gave me. My friend, could not represent me due to our personal relationship, gave me the referral to Rachel. Thank God for that! I talked and/or met with the other two attorneys on the list, but it was clear from my meeting with Rachel that she was the right one for me. I can't speak highly enough of her! Randal

When I first went to see Rachel I was not too sure what my rights were as a registered domestic partner..i was living in a very mentally and verbally abusive relationship and felt I had no recourse..after working with Rachel I found out that I had rights and there was a way out.i am currently out of my relationship and doing fine..i even got to spend the last few months of my dads life with him..something that I can never thank her for..those last few months with my dad would not have happened if Rachel didn't help me realize that there was a life for me after my partnership and that there were ways to end the relationship and even get spousal support..i am submitting this anonymously only because I am still in process of dissolving partnership
