Rachel was wonderful from start to finish. I wish I hired her the first time around. She assisted me through a child custody matter with a difficult ex. She was empathetic and didn’t take any garbage from the other side. She is professional and handles herself well when working up against lawyers that are her colleagues. Would definitely use her again if needed.
Divorce is such an amazingly hard process to go through whether it’s amicable or contentious. Rachel’s knowledge of the process and the law combined with her ability to handle the case with respect and care went above and beyond what I expected. I even forgot that she may have other clients because she was always responsive and took time to make sure I knew what to expect during each stage of the process. Rachel was always honest with her opinion, and given her years of experience, was always right on. There is so much that you don’t think of as you just want it done, but Rachel made sure that I was well represented and had all the information to make a sensible decision. Thank you Rachel! You made a very difficult stage in my life so much easier. I highly recommend Rachel...I hope I never need her again, but if I do, she will be my Lawyer!
Rachel is extremely focused on her clients. I found her to be very thoughtful about the situations I faced, and provided sound and fair guidance. She based her approach on realistic expectations, and was mindful not to waste time just to run up billings. She is diligent in her follow-up and very organized. All in all, I felt like she was there on my side. She has done a great job and I appreciate her work.
I would not want to have been represented by any other lawyer in my "modified" collaborative divorce. From the first consultation till the final no-contest, pre-court meeting, I always felt my best interests where considered in every aspect of my case. She provided her own template for entering the requisite Financial Affidavit information to the court. Once complete, that data was then entered in a flexible form that allowed additional content. Clearly superior to typing into a CT court approved PDF form. Very open and engaged with my case, even when the other side was less active. Kept in touch not only with me, but also with the opposing lawyer when long pauses in our case happened with no feedback from the other side. Reaching out to her was easy via text msg, email or phone. Very clear communications at all times. The final settlement agreement Rachel drafted was thorough and complete. I will just add that compared to the opposing lawyer in my case, Rachel was hands down someone I would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your professionalism, dedication and time, ! I greatly appreciate your legal assistance in this process, it gave me a lot of security and help me see the process less difficult.
After my initial consult, which Rachel covered every scenario in depth, I decided to retain her services to help with my son's college tuition that was part of a 15 year old divorce agreement. I had a clause that required my ex to assist with college expenses until the age of 23. I did not know if it was worth it to try for this money, but Rachel was able to draw up an agreement, get my ex to sign and have it filed in court in an expeditious fashion that helped me not spend a fortune in fees. I am so grateful to her and will now get the additional funds towards my son's college tuition. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Attorney Rachel Aylor was excellent throughout my whole divorce process. She is both professional and compassionate. She worked diligently to ensure that I was fully informed while being supportive. Her response time to calls and emails were always quick (within minutes or a few hours at the most, even responded on a Saturday!) I highly recommend Rachel for others who are seeking counsel.
I used Rachel for a particularly difficult divorce 6 years ago. She not only fought for me every step of the way, she was always accessible when I needed to talk to her, and showed tremendous compassion and empathy, always reminding me to "just keep swimming," even after the final hearing. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
Rachel represented me for a contempt motion and a modification to a custody order. This was an emotional process for myself and my children and Rachel was kind and compassionate through the whole process. She explained my options and possible outcomes as well as what I could expect during the proceedings. Rachel was very knowledgeable of the family court process and was a strong advocate for me. I really felt like she fought me for and my best interests. If needed, I would hire her again without hesitation.
Rachel is a wonderful attorney. She is fair, reasonable, yet will fight hard for you. She is very up front and will tell you what needs to happen, yet will also listen to your wants and needs. She is very knowledgeable of how the legal system works. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She is the best of the best!
