I was a client of hers for 2 short meetings. She charge $890 to review a case for a lawsuit. Later, I find that most attorneys do this for free or for just $100. The second time we met she did not even recognize me nor could she find the notes from the first time we met. I had to repeat the information provided to her at the first meeting. She agreed to a contingency contract and stated that I would be reimbursed the $890 if we won the case. She broke the terms of our contingency contract and withdrew representation but kept the $890. She sited work load reason but she had 3 years to file the case but she took new clients. When notify that I had not found an attorney, she did not assist me. This is a violation of attorney code of ethics.
