I was not a good client and truth be told probably a bad one. The main thing is I did not return phone calls timely. He was not happy about this and I do not blame him. However, after apologizing profusely (I was quite worried about my case and you could say maybe burying my head in the sand) I believed he accepted my apology but he did not. The apology and supposed forgiveness happened on a Monday and by Tuesday(the next day) morning I was dropped. He no longer was going to represent me. He did however tell me he would accompany me to my initial hearing to let the courts know that he was no longer representing me. He sent out one information request to the police (Police report, body cam footage...etc) via mail and that was it. He told me everything is alright on that Monday (You could say I was freaking out about my case) after I apologized and then was dropped the following morning. He did feel he earned about 20% of his flat upfront fee. He did return the 80+% upfront fee back. If you can find another attorney in the Milwaukee area I recommend it.
