Hired him to help manage estate planning and asset preservation for my elderly parents so they would understand and have access to the best care options as they age. Very knowledgeable; very personable; cares for his clients. Outstanding support staff; had social worker on staff to handle complementary clinical issues such as physical and mental evaluation of clients and insurance options. Performed an extremely valuable analysis of assets and available care scenarios for present and future as parents' care needs accelerate. Has been proactive in updating documents in anticipation of changes in law and other asset protection ideas. Very trustworthy!

I had a fairly complicated revocable living trust prepared by Mr. Lindsley. He understood all of my needs and concerns extremely well. He is personable, able to sort out the important elements and he is upfront about the costs. His assistants, with whom I worked, Anna and Liz , were great about doing changes and providing personal attention. I showed my trust to an attorney friend in another part of the country and he was very impressed. I also appreciate the small creditcard size card he provided that carries all my medical directives and his contact information and will fit in a USB port on any computer. This office takes care of every detail.

Attorney Lindsley (simply the most knowledgeable in his field) and the team at Elder Law helped me and my husband set up living trusts and other estate documents, walked me through successor trustee duties following my husband's death, and helped me amend my own trust. Most of the time I worked with attorney Carly Maganuco, who was very conscientious, responsive, prompt, accurate, and a total pleasure to work with. I received extensive help from several paralegals and other members of the team as well, who did scanning, document research, accounting, compiling updated documents (thank you Anna), and endless other tasks with courtesy, professionalism, and always a smile. It was great to call and reach Heather, who amazed me with her good memory and kindness. This team made a difficult life transition easier. Highly recommended.

I couldn't be happier to be using these guys for both drawing up trusts and executing them. The trust my dad was about to sign was drawn up by a quack lawyer ... if I had to execute it, it would have been very hard. A big firm recommended that we start over, but this time using San Diego Elder Law instead. GREAT MOVE ... they gave excellent attention to detail, and created documents I know will be useful when we finally need them. Thank you, SDELC!! And more immediately, SDELC (especially Carly Surber Maganuco) was ENORMOUSLY helpful in closing my aunt's estate. I am executor/trustee, but without any education in either ... and the death of a relative is not a good time to find out. From the first day, Carly did an amazing job of leading me through discovery and organizing the situation, and then guided me through the process for both probate and trust. Formally, her job was to keep me safe while executing my duties. Practically, it meant performing the complicated probate work, managing the accountants while they did (even more) complicated work, and setting up dates and relationships in the proper order to avoid re-do and unnecessary friction. I have come to rely completely on her steady advice and good humor. Thank goodness, too, for the excellent SDELC firm that backs her up. I'm very, very glad SDELC is available to help draw up documents and then lead me to the end. They do a great service to families who need to get to the end of California's and US's crazy thicket of detailed regulations at the worst of times. BEWARE: There are quacks and slimy nut jobs that claim to be trust/estate lawyers. SDELC is the real deal, and their charges are fair given the value they deliver. This is one area where it pays to be picky!

When I found I was to be a successor trustee due to the death of the first trustee I knew I needed help. A friend suggested I contact Phil Lindsley and his group at San Diego Elder Law. They have provided all the guidance I needed to get through probate and court supervision. I could not have asked for better help. Easy to work with, responsive, and very helpful. They were able to take a stressful situation and help me get through it confidently. I can confidently recommend Philip and his staff.

My Mom was unexpectedly placed in a 24-hour Skilled Nursing Facility where Medicare would only cover expenses for a very short time. Within a few days of her being admitted to the Skilled Nursing Facility we were providentially lead to attend a seminar by the San Diego Elder Law Center with Mr. Lindsley as speaker. What encouraging information was presented and an appointment was scheduled. We retained the services of Mr. Lindsley and his Elder Law Center with full knowledge what to expect, and not to expect, from their services. My Mom was placed under MediCal within a very reasonable amount of time relieving and reducing a significant monetary burden that she would not have been able to maintain. Our thanks and gratefulness to Mr. Lindsley and his group, especially Liz, cannot be fully expressed in this review. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you did for my Mom!

Philip has a wonderful caring team. They helped me threw a difficult time in my life, find a Healthcare Center due to my husbands battle with alzheimer's. They provided a professional to meet me at the center's when I needed to solve problems. Philip, worked with my financial representative to make sure my husbands IRA annuity transfured to me in a timely manner. I would refer him in a heartbeat with out misgiving.

San Diego Elder Law Center, each and every person who worked with me, treated me with respect, care and much compassion. They were diligent and knowledgeable regarding all the laws concerning probate and went the extra mile concerning a lawsuit that came up against the estate. I am grateful to the Lord Jesus that He led me to this trustworthy law firm. I would be more than happy to recommend Philip P. Lindsley and his staff.

Philip Lindsley and his staff have been giving me excellent advice regarding Medi-Cal planning for over 3 years. His prices scared me at first but in the long run his help was worth far more than he charged. I would highly recommend him and his staff they are very knowledgeable and helpful.
