I was on disability after an unfortunate fall at work. He was very helpful and I felt pleased with the settlement. It was a difficult time for me and I was relieved to work with an individual who understood my frustrations.

He doesn't remember things well. Need to remind him about our case every time we meet which makes us feel that he is not invested in our issues.

Peter T. Waltz recently "represented" me in a Social Security Disability case. This so called professional refuses to gather medical records. He claims its the clients responsibility to do so. He also will not prepare a case. He claims its the luck of the draw. If you get a bad judge you will be denied regardless of what you present. He thinks all he has to do is submit the medical records to the judge. No presentation necessary.. He was unaware of my disability which was severe CSM. A very debilitating condition. He didn't think that important apparently. In fact he didn't seem very educated with regard to disabilities. Curious for a disability lawyer. He doesn't do a good job of presenting anything. In fact he presented nothing. All he did was to call me numerous times to rehash the same thing over and over. He would always preface the question with a "forgive me if I asked this already". That's his was of building a phone record as to prove he doing something if a complaint arises over his lack of professionalism. If the lack of attention wasn't enough he gave Social Security a erroneous address of someone else he was dealing with. My letter of award was sent to that other person. It was returned and I got no payment. I'm loosing my apartment because my payment is lost in limbo apparently. My wife is sick so we have no income at all. If he was simply competent this situation would not be happening to me. All he did for me was to sit beside me at the hearing and he asked one question to get it entered into the record. "how much do I lay around each day as a result of my injuries"? That's it. He also told me to amend the start date of my claim by one month. For this he put in a claim for twice the normal amount allowed by Social Security. Some $13,500 for siting beside me at the hearing and amending my start date. There is a provision in the law for that apparently. He uses this loophole to sting his clients apparently. He refuses to call me or address any of these rather ugly issues he created. You have been warned. Hire this man at your own risk! I would have liked to give 0 stars.
