Mr Walsh advised and assisted in the somewhat complex MEDICAID application process for my 88 year old Mother. His professional guidance and MEDICAID planning smarts ensured the MEDICAID application would meet the eligibility requirements for a successful submission. His advice to execute a Promissory Note and establish a Retainer Trust were just what was needed to make my Mother eligible, while protecting some assets. I have no doubt that the successful 1 time submission/acceptance of my Mother’s MEDICAID Application was in no small part due to Mr Walsh's knowledge and experience in Elder Law. I would highly recommend, if reading this, you give serious consideration to contacting Mr Walsh with your Elder Law needs. You won't go wrong!
I was faced with a very traumatic and complex family estate problem. I was referred to Peter for his litigation capabilities but also discovered his compassionate approach. He helped me navigate this problem over the course of several years to a favorable conclusion and never lost his compassion and empathy for me and my situation. I would highly recommend him not only for any challenging situation but also for "normal" estate planning as he is very pragmatic and knows his own capabilities.
I would definitely hire Peter as your Estate Planning attorney. He was nothing but helpful, knowledgeable and proffesional. Cleaned up a lot of loose ends that should have never happened while my Father was alive.
My sister and I were referred to Peter by a local attorney. We met with Peter and explained our situation. We came away from that initial meeting feeling so very relieved, knowing that we were in very capable, knowledgeable and experienced hands. We had many, many questions over the course of the last few months, and he always took the time to answer all of them, and in language that we were able to understand. It was a very stressful & exhausing situation/case, and Peter was able to keep us calm. He was able to help us travese the unfamiliar court system, and kept us completely informed throughout the entire process. I will contact him in the future for any probate, estate and/or trust planning requirements. He also has a great sense of humor! I highly, highly, recommend Peter!!
My sister and I needed a litigation attorney and were referred to Peter in Oct 2014, so we have worked with Peter for 4 months. Peter navigated us through the complex procedures of court, litigation, probate and a host of other issues surrounding our case. My sister and I would ask Peter many questions. Peter took the extra time to answer all of our questions, with expertise and explained to us nuances surrounding our case. We knew that Peter was extremely but, and ours was not a million dollar case, but he took the time and treated us as though we were a million dollar case. We really enjoyed working with him and put our full faith and trust in him. In the end, we were very happy with the outcome.
Peter saved our skin. My parents and I had made some very bad investments with an unqualified and shady business. I contacted Peter through a recommendation of a very good friend and he immediately got to work. He travelled out quite a distance to initially meet and investigate all aspects of our situation. Along with being professional, he is quite personable and likeable and has a way of giving a feeling of assurance that your problem is in good hands. VERY thorough and meticulous-careful to avoid any mistakes that could cause future problems as well. He is very knowledgeable, but if a new issue arises he knows where to get the answers. I would whole-heartedly recommend Peter to ANYONE, and will hire him without question again. Thanks to Peter along with his great team -especially the help of Trevor Lippman- our family can now rest easier!
I am currently going through an extremely difficult time in my life. I was blessed to find Peter Walsh to help me through it. The comfort and peace of mind I've received through his prompt courteous and professional knowledge is hard to put into words. I found Peter through an article he wrote "The Basics of Wisconsin Medicaid" which you can find on line www.wilaw.com.
Peter Walsh is a very experienced and trustworthy attorney. He helped us with a very difficult guardianship case. He responded immediately and kept me informed throughout the entire process. He was able to get answers that several attorneys could not provide. I look forward to working with him again and I believe he is also a great estate planning attorney. Kudos Mr. Walsh. #1 attorney in Milwaukee, WI
My Mom spent ALL her life savings at an assisted living facility in less than two years while recovering from a doctor-induced brain injury. The facility then attempted to give her the Bum's Rush after she was forced to apply for Medicaid, while simultaneously saying she could retain her room if she just paid more money. These dubious elder care tactics are apparently against Federal Law. I didn't know that. But Mr. Walsh sure did. So did the facility. My Mom is safely in her room as I write. Thanks to Mr. Walsh.
Peter handled my estate litigation and did a fantastic job. His creativity saved me potential court litigation and personal worry. He was recommended to me by another prominent estate attorney from a different firm who suggested I use Peter over other attorneys in his own firm. I felt that I got great value for the money I spent. I would highly recommend Peter to any one who wants great representation for their dollar. His experience, creativity and personal nature make him great to work with.

I felt that I got great value for the money I spent. I would highly recommend Peter to any one who wants great representation for their dollar. His experience, creativity and personal nature make him great to work with.
