Peter Barnett is a Kirkland native from right here in the Seattle area. After attending the University of Washington, where he studied International Studies and Political Science, Peter worked for a local e-commerce company gaining valuable negotiating and business experience, before shipping off to the east coast to attend New England Law | Boston.During his time in Boston, Peter focused on working in various legal settings including a number of small firms and solo practitioners. Peter worked with the Bace Law Group, L.L.C.; Fireman & Associates, L.L.P.; and solo practitioners handling personal injury, public housing and benefits, labor, employment, social security, and general civil litigation matters.At the same time he showed a strong dedication to public interest work through his advocacy on the Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Project and through his time with Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services, which provides legal representation for low-income clients in need. As a result of Peter’s public interest work, he was featured on the law school’s public service honor roll. Peter was also a summer fellow in the Center for Business Law. Peter continues to dedicate himself to the public interest work volunteering with the King County Bar Association as well as taking Pro Bono cases.Peter worked for Cole Wathen Leid Hall, PC. an established insurance defense firm before shifting his focus to advocating for clients who have been injured. Peter is currently a zealous advocate for his clients at Strong Law.Peter is dedicated to providing clients with a personal experience because no two clients or cases are exactly the same, and each one deserves a thoughtful, dedicated and unique approach. By leveraging technology and his business background, Peter is able to effectively serve his clients, get to know them personally, and use technology to keep costs down, allowing him to bill less, while providing the highest quality representation.Peter is licensed to practice in Washington State and is a member of the King County Bar Association.
